A message from our new Chairman - Lee Brown

I am delighted to be appointed as Portgordon Community Harbour Group Chairman and I will do my best to bring prosperity back to the Harbour. The Harbour is the focal point of the village which adjoins the Spey Side Walk along our Coastline. The vast amount of visitor that are attracted to the Seal Colony East of the Harbour grows every year. We have lots of visitors that stop by for a refreshment break and to look around the Harbour Area. There is also the famous prolific salmon River, the River Spey to the West and in addition, the Moray Firth Wild Life Centre sits at the Mouth of the River Spey at Tugnet.

Over the years the harbour has declined into a sorry state I hope to amend this by working with all parties involved and hope that we all work together to bring a clean and tidy harbour area. I would like people to visit and feel proud of the efforts that have gone in to bring new life to the Harbour
